The Lion and the Eagle exhibition at the Turku castle

The Lion and the Eagle exhibition looks at the time of autonomy in three different cities: Savonlinna, Hämeenlinna and Turku. Plenty of original articles connected to different themes are on display. 

 
 

Turku Castle and Historical Museum

The Turku Castle is a culturally historical tourist attraction that is over 700 years old. The Castle has a museum, which demonstrates the history of the Turku region from prehistory to present day with its frequent exhibitions, events and furnished style rooms.

Museum visitors can join guided tours or tour the castle individually. Guide books are sold at the ticket office. The Museum Shop Fatabur has a wide variety of high-quality products on sale. The Castle also has a room for Provincial Museum's varying exhibitions.
